About Us

Miriam Zhu is a junior at Thomas S. Wootton High School located in Rockville, Maryland. Miriam co-founded the organization with the purpose of empowering students to pursue science as well as bridging the gap in science education. Within the realm of science, Miriam is interested in biomedical engineering and math. In her free-time, Miriam enjoys playing the violin, reading, and traveling.

Zealand Cushing is a junior at Thomas S. Wootton High School located in Rockville, Maryland. Zealand co-founded the organization to share his passion for science with as many people as possible. He is interested in studying mechanical engineering in college and is the president of Wootton's Science National Honor Society. In his free-time, Zealand enjoys running and playing video games.
